46th U.S. Sr. Open Championship… they said it at Scioto

North Arlington, Ohio — Scioto Country Club, a stone’s throw from Muirfield Village, is an extremely historic golf course. One hundred years- ago, Bobby Jones was the first US Open Champion held at the course in 1916. Jack Nicklaus first learned to play at Scioto in the late-1940’s with PGA Pro Jack Grout. The players competing at the 46th Senior Open Championship know the history for the most part. Still, their top priority will be to overcome the USGA course setup, the heat, and the Donald Ross-designed golf course.
