Eight CCHA teams are in action this weekend, including a trio of conference series, which get underway on Friday night. No. 16 Minnesota State welcomes Northern Michigan to town, while St. Thomas hosts Bowling Green. Lake Superior State battles Ferris State at home on Friday, before the series shifts to Traverse City for a neutral-site league contest at Center Ice Arena.
In non-league action, Bemidji State battles No. 3 Minnesota in a home-and-home series, which opens on Thursday night at 3M Arena at Mariucci. The Beavers then host the Gophers on Saturday night. Augustana heads to Plymouth, Mich., to face the USNTDP Under-18s this weekend.
