BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons (12-7-3, CCHA 8-4-3) defeated the Ferris State Bulldogs (6-15-2, CCHA 5-10-0) by a score of 4-3 . For the Falcons, they remain undefeated since Dec. 7, 2024, and have picked up at least one CCHA point in every game since Dec. 13, 2024.

How It Happened
- The Falcons struck early just 2:07 into the game from freshman Maxwell Martin. After the initial play was broken up by a Ferris State defender. Martin picked up the puck in the defender’s skates. As he was falling, Martin took a spinning shot to beat the Ferris State goaltender five-hole.
- Over a minute later, senior Ryan O’Hara doubled the BGSU lead for his 7th goal in 6 games. Freshman Adam Zlnka, behind the net, backhand passed the puck to O’Hara in front of the net for a quick snapshot to beat the Ferris State goaltender
- With 1:20 left in the first period, senior Christian Stoever made two beautiful saves. The puck was picked up by graduate Ethan Scardina behind the Bowling Green net and passed it to sophomore Breck McKinley. McKinley passed the puck up across the length of the ice. Graduate Ville Immonen beat out the Ferris State defender for the puck and took a backhand shot to extend the BG lead to 3-0.
- In the first period, the Falcons out-shot the Bulldogs 17-13 with Stoever stopping all 13.
- Ferris State got one back at early in the second period on a deflected shot to make it 3-1.
- The Bulldogs doubled their goal total with 5 minutes left in the second to make it, 3-2.
- Just two minutes into the final stance, Sophomore Brody Waters scored his team leading 12th goal to give the Falcons a two-goal lead. After the initial shot from Waters was saved, he collected his own rebound and tapped it in to make it 4-2.
- Ferris State struck back with one of their own at 6:18 in the third period.
