The PBA Tour is hosting multiple tournaments at the Thunderbowl in Allen Park and tour bowlers are bowling for purse money including PBA Hall-of-Fame Bowler Chris Barnes. Barnes started his career at the professional level in 1998 after honing his skills in a variety of tournaments and high pressure situations.

In the interview below, we talk about Chris Barnes then and now, his career highlights and what’s next. Barnes has won over 50 PBA tournaments factoring in his 16 National wins, 39 regional titles, 3 majors, and three PBA50 career victories. He is one of five players to win a PBA Player-of-the-Year and Rookie of the Year award in the same year. He is currently 41st in the money list in 2024 and still throws that ton of bricks strike ball. He spent five minutes with me and this interview contains video career highlights in addition to the interview.
