BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green women’s golf team won the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational on Sunday afternoon shooting a 586(+18) over two rounds of play. The Orange and Brown collected their first win at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational since the 2021-22 season when BGSU shot a 595(+19) over two rounds. 

Notables

• BGSU recorded their first tournament win of the season and fifth top five finish as a team
• The Orange and Brown had three golfers finish in the top 10: Sammie Dolce (2^nd), Ava O’Sullivan (4^th), Macie Elzinga(6^th)
• Dolce jumped six spots in the final round to finish second and record a 69(-2), which was the tournaments lowest round score
• The Falcons lead all teams in birdies and pars with 22 and 109, respectively
• Elzinga tied for the tournament lead in pars with 26
• Bowling Green recorded the two lowest team round scores with a +8 and +10 in the first and second rounds
