Third-Generation Racer Returns to Team for CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Playoff Stretch
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 2, 2025) — Corey LaJoie will return to Spire Motorsports to campaign the team’s No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado for nine of the final 13 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck races of 2025, beginning with Saturday’s DQS Solutions and Staffing 200 at Michigan International Speedway.
LaJoie will be back at the controls for the August 15 Clean Harbors 250 at Richmond Raceway and pilot the No. 07 machine for the final seven races, as the team looks to compete for a CRAFTSMAN Truck Series owner’s title playoff berth. With seven teams currently positioned for a bid in the Truck Series owner’s playoffs and six races remaining before the 10-team field is locked, LaJoie looks to pick up a win at either Michigan or Richmond to further solidify the No. 07 team’s position in the seven-race championship runoff.
Zilisch To Drive No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet in Atlanta & Watkins Glen Cup Races
| Trackhouse Racing announced today that 18-year-old Connor Zilisch will drive the No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet in NASCAR Cup Series races at Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 28 and the road course at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International on Aug. 10. “It’s awesome to have the opportunity to race two more times in the NASCAR Cup Series,” said Zilisch. “Nothing beats experience in this sport especially at the Cup level. Kaulig Racing Welcomes Supercars Champion Will Brown for the Chicago Street Race
The city of Chicago has lured another Supercars champion to its streets.
Kaulig Racing announced today it will enter reigning Supercars Australia Champion Will Brown in the NASCAR Cup Series race at the July 6 Chicago Street Race, one of the most anticipated races of the year.
Brown, a 26-year-old Australian, will drive Kaulig Racing’s No. 13 Chevrolet, joining teammates AJ Allmendinger and Ty Dillon. Brown won the 2024 Supercars title, scoring five wins and 19 podium finishes, the first time in 40 years that a driver earned a podium finish in every round.
“After watching SVG (Shane van Gisbergen) win the 2023 Chicago NASCAR race and getting to drive myself at Sonoma last year, I’ve been really keen to have a go at the Grant Park 165,” said Brown. “The Supercars calendar aligned this year to give me time to get over to Charlotte early to prepare and give the race a crack! I have watched Kaulig Racing closely this season and I’m really excited to get behind the wheel of the MobileX and Shaw and Partners Financial Services No. 13!”
This year, NASCAR returns to Chicago for its third season racing the famed streets of Chicago. The inaugural event was won by three-time Supercars champion, Shane van Gisbergen, when he shocked the motorsports world by winning the inaugural event in just his first NASCAR start.

In 13 NASCAR Cup Series starts at Michigan International Speedway (MIS), Spire Motorsports has logged two top-10 and and three top-15 finishes. Zane Smith posted a team-best seventh-place finish in last season’s 400-mile event at the Brooklyn oval. Spire Motorsports fields the Nos. 7, 71 and 77 Chevrolet ZL1s in the Cup Series for Justin Haley, Michael McDowell and Carson Hocevar, respectively.The FireKeepers Casino 400 will be streamed live on Amazon Prime, Sunday, June 8 beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Justin Haley – Driver, No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet ZL1 Justin Haley will pilot Spire Motorsports’ No. 7 Garner Trucking, Inc. Chevrolet ZL1 in Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.Haley has recorded four previous NASCAR Cup Series starts at the famed two-mile oval. Over those four races, the Winamac, Ind., native has logged a 23.3 average start, a 21.3 average finish and earned two top-20 showings, while completing 805 of 806 laps (99.9%). His career/series-best finish was a 17th-place result in August 2022. Garner Trucking is a family-owned and operated business started in 1960 by Vernon E. Garner and Regina R.
