Jeff Roope has been coaching the Toledo Rockets men’s team for eight years and in that time, his teams have been rising contenders in the MAC. Barend Botha became the first individual in 34 years to win back-to-back outright MAC titles and the second Rocket to earn First-Team All-MAC honors four straight years. He was also named the MAC’s Men’s Golfer of the Year for a second straight year.
Like most NCAA teams, the Rockets have both homegrown talent and talent from across the globe. In this interview, we talk about his team, the upcoming season, contenders in the MAC and the outstanding Rockets schedule.
