The track has also begun building a fan list, with the hope of capturing fans’ interest enough to be on the short list for buying tickets to the event. NASCAR has added destination racetracks to its schedule for a couple of decades now, and with San Diego being added to the 2026 schedule, that box is checked for fans wanting to visit a destination city.
