JGR Racing working through Ty Gibbs & playoff drivers contending
JGR has been running at the pinnacle of NASCAR through the Round of 16 in the playoffs this season. Ty Gibbs is the only non-playoff driver in 2025 and is still winless in his Cup career spanning over 100 races dating back to his debut in 2023. He has been close, but he has been blocking his own teammates and racing them too hard, according to Denny Hamlin. In New Hampshire, Hamlin was tired of the Gibbs treatment and eventually dumped him into the wall.
