The scrambles format on Friday allowed player duos to go real low on Friday. Golfers were not impressed with the day two format, but day three’s alternate shot allowed players to showcase their skills.
The day three tee off gave moving day combined with the final day a real sense of drama.

Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak (Champions)
Eight birdies in the first ten holes put this duo in contention
Coughlin and Novak closed fast on Saturday and started off with three birdies over the front nine. Very good but in a PGA Tour mixed doubles tournament, they left some meat on the bone. They finished strong with six birdies on the back nine and finished with nine-under for the day. Coughlin chipped in from off the green to put the exclamation point on the tournament.

Jennifer Kupcho and Chris Gotterup had plenty of get-up-and-go on Sunday.
Kupcho and Gotterup got off to a decent start with a six under 30 on the front nine. Their nine birdies on the day included three on the back, and it’s a great score, but the winning team went into high gear while Kupcho and Gotterup had no birdies after 15. Super finish for the three-way tie for second finishers.

Charley Hull and Michael Brennan

Finishing 3 way T-2 caps off a top notch second half of the 2025 season for Hull. With Brennan and Hull putting together a (-25) for the tournament and a 65 is a great Christmas stocking stuffer. These two seemed to play well together although Brennan said one way to describe the ‘free spirited’ Hull intense. She rebuffed him for that.

Nelly Korda- Denny McCarthy
This duo finishes the GT.Invitational in a three way tie for second at (-25). They brought it on Sunday with a nine under 63 shooting scores of 58-70-63. Nine birdies on the final day with no bogeys. What a great way to celebrate a Merry Christmas with a nice fat check.
