Charley Hull said this Donald Ross course is quirky
So far this season, had a pretty strong season:
Four top 20s, a top 10 in a major. Can you just kind of talk about heading into the major season where you feel your game is at.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, so I’ve had a win this year, had two Top 10s, and then top 15. And 17th was I think my first event, first one at the beginning of the year, and then missed two cuts… For the rest, check out Charley’s interview.
Nelly Korda on Makatewah CC’s quiriness and appearing on the Pat McAtee show
(we) Haven’t seen you domestically
since the you were on the Pat McAfee Show. You had so much fun. Was there a moment in particular that made you crack up or was really funny that you would ultimate like to expand upon? NELLY KORDA: The entire show. Honestly he was so high energy. I was just trying to match it just a little bit, but I don’t think anyone can ever match his energy. Lydia Ko talks about the course, going low and hair claws…really
Lydia, you touched on the course’s two Par-5s. So
it’s got two par-3 finishes on nine and 18. It’s sn
anomaly on the LPGA Tour. Talk about the par-3 on nine and par-3 finishing hole on 18 for you guys.
LYDIA KO: I really hope it’s not into the wind on nine. I was joking, I might have to hit like a small driver. It’s like 200 to the front, but it’s not like we can hit from any other tee boxes because it’s either 200 or 60. So there is not many options going forward.
