Alison Lee and Megan Khang’s 4 and 3 defeat of Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist and Madelene Sagstrom was one of the most thrilling matches of the afternoon, highlighted by a Lee hole out that saw one of the best celebrations in modern Solheim Cup history from the pair’s caddies. Andrea Lee and Rose Zhang also won a point for the Americans after beating Celine Boutier and Linn Grant 6 and 4, the largest margin of victory of day two.
