6th Women’s Senior Championship will be held August 20-23

Ann Arbor, Mich. — Barton Hills Country Club is one worthy location to host a USGA Championship. Originally designed by Donald Ross, this outstanding design is being the host of its third USGA event. BHCC previously hosted the 98th U.S. Women’s Amateur in 1998, won by Grace Park. The club also hosted Legends like Arnold Palmer and Gary Player, who competed in the Coffey Cadillac Invitational in the 1960’s. The latest update on the golf course was in the 2010’s by Ron Pritchard to restore the Donald Ross design. The Barton Hills course is in spectacular shape and the facilities are second to none.

The eighth US Women’s Senior Open has had a distinguished list of winners. Six World of Golf HOF players are scheduled to play in the tournament including Juli Inkster and Annika Sorenstam.
