The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for December 6-7 and four student-athletes from four different programs have been recognized. Sasha Teleguine (Lake Superior State) was named Forward of the Week, while Campbell Cichosz (Minnesota State) was the league’s Defenseman of the Week. Noah West (Ferris State) claimed his first Goaltender of the Week award and Nace Langus (Augustana) claimed Rookie of the Week honors.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Sasha Teleguine, Jr., Lake Superior State (North Attleborough, Mass.)
Teleguine led all CCHA skaters in goals (4), points (4), power-play goals (2), shorthanded goals (1) and game-winning goals (1) last week, helping Lake Superior State to a split with Bemidji State. Netting his first collegiate hat trick on Saturday in a 4-3 Lakers victory, he also tallied on a 4-2 defeat on Friday. For the weekend, he
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Campbell Cichosz, Jr., Minnesota State (Albert Lea, Minn.)
Cichosz (1 goal, 1 assist) produced two points and a +2 from the blueline for No. 15 Minnesota State last week, blocking a league-high 10 shots. Also notching four shots on goal at the offensive end, he assisted on the eventual game-winning goal in a 4-1 victory over Bowling Green on Friday night, before netting a go-ahead tally in the second period on Saturday, before the Mavericks won 3-2 in overtime.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Noah West, Gr., Ferris State (Pittsboro, Ind.)
West paced CCHA netminders with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .966 save percentage last week, leading Ferris State to a road sweep of Northern Michigan. Second in total saves with 57, he turned away 35-of-36 shots on Friday night in a 3-1 Bulldogs victory. He then had 22 stops in a 2-1 win on Saturday.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Nace Langus, Fr., Augustana (Ljubljana, Slovenia)
Langus scored two goals, including a game-winner, to help Augustana to a road split with Alaska last week. He totaled six shots on goal for the weekend, with one block defensively. On Friday, he registered his first collegiate two-goal game in a 3-1 victory over the Nanooks. He then had three shots on goal in a 2-1 loss on Saturday night.
