College Golf: Spartans Add Two to Roster on 2024-25 Signing Day

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State men’s golf head coach Casey Lubahn announced the signing of two incoming student-athletes to the Spartans’ 2025-26 roster.

Connor Fox and Luke Mueller are set to join the Spartans on campus in the fall of 2025.

“We’re really happy to welcome both of these young men to a young and exciting group of golfers in our program,” Lubahn said. “Both Connor and Luke have had great experiences and results on the summer circuits and in high school and we’re looking forward to working with them during the next steps of their careers.”

Connor Fox – Lake Orion, Mich. / Lake Orion
Fox was the state regional champion at Lake Orion in 2022 … Won multiple events in high school and was a Michigan State High School Athletic Association Division I all-state nominee … Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) junior invitational champion in 2021 … Has posted several top-10 finishes in American Junior Golf Association events … Advanced to the second round of match play at the 2022 Michigan Amateur … Home course is Indianwood Golf and Country Club … Swing coach is Brian Cairns … Also played tennis … His older sister, Jessica, and brother, Nathan, are both students at Michigan State.

Luke Mueller – Wake Forest, N.C. / Leesville Road
Carried a three-year scoring average of 73.8 during summer competition … Low round of 67 … Best four-round average was 67.5 … Tied for fifth place at the CGA Junior Boys’ Dogwood … Tied for 19th place at the NCHSAA men’s 4A State Championship … Carried a 35.5 scoring average during his freshman year of high school … Coached by Justin Paredes at Brier Creek Country Club in North Carolina.
