No. 15 Minnesota State looks to maintain its grip on the top spot in the CCHA standings this weekend, when it faces red-hot St. Thomas in a home-and-home series that opens in Mankato on Friday night. The Mavericks have split their last three league series, including a road weekend at Ferris State last week. The Tommies saw their seven-game unbeaten streak snapped on Sunday against Bemidji State. Minnesota State owns a 28-10-2 all-time lead in the series, including 12-3-1 in UST’s Division I era.
