Highlights and they said it…

Jared Goff on Redemption
“It’s fun,” said Lions quarterback Jared Goff, who rebounded from last week’s five-interception performance in Houston by going 24-of-29 passing for 412 yards (his most ever with the Lions), four touchdowns, zero interceptions and a perfect passer rating of 158.3. He also had a season-high 21 rushing yards, for good measure.
Dan Campbell reflecting on the win
How good was the Detroit Lions‘ performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Ford Field on Sunday?
“Look, everybody on offense is going to get a game ball for that,” Lions head coach Dan Campbell said.
Dan Campbell on his team’s dangerous offense
Campbell says the Lions “have that ability” to stack up with the best offenses in NFL history.
“To me, we have everything that we need to be potent. And like I say, I feel like we’re well-rounded. … Yeah, I mean, I feel like we can be dangerous,” Campbell said. “Because we can play the game any way we need to, as long as we’re on our stuff, we’re on our game, we’re locked in and we’re finishing, we can do that.”
St. Brown on Redemption
“The way we won last week — obviously, the win was big last week — but we felt like we didn’t play our best game at all,” St. Brown said. “So, we wanted to come in this week and change things around and get back on track to the football that we play … and I think we did that, for the most part, so this one was big for us.”
Goff on playing to the Lions Standard
“The reality was they’re (Jacksonville) a team that has less wins than us and we could have played down to our competition in some ways, but we wanted to play to our standard — nameless, faceless opponent,” Goff said. “That’s not just them; that’s every week. I think we wanted to come out and stay on the gas the whole game, no matter what happened.”
Jaguars Coach Doug Pederson on potentially being fired
But with the losses piling up and the team becoming increasingly less competitive, the writing appears to be on the wall for Pederson. The veteran coach understands that, as he explained after the game when asked if he believed he had coached his final game with the Jaguars.
“I can’t control that,” Pederson replied. “Listen, I’ve been around this league a long time. If it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen obviously. But at the same time, I still have a job to do. And that’s to get ready for a good division opponent here in two weeks.”
