Turnbull was the top EMU finisher as he tied for 14th at 5-under 211 (71-72-68) to post his second under-par tournament score this season. He helped the team to a seventh-place showing in its first of two tournaments this week.

Jeffrey Andrus posted the top finish among Central Michigan golfers, a T46, in a very strong field at the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational at Silverado Country Club in Napa, Calif. Andrus posted a final-round 3-over 75 after back-to-back even-par 72s.

Jasmine Leovao Secures Golfer of the Week Honors

Team Finish: 2nd | Individual Finish: 3rd
Jasmine Leovao finished third at the Florida State Match Up as she shot 213 (69-71-73) to post the ninth-lowest score in program history and post her second score this year and 12th of her career shooting below par for a 54-hole tournament. Leovao, who has finished in the top 10 five times this year with all five finishes in the top 5 and three in the top 3, entered ranked No. 86 nationally and finished better than three players ranked ahead of her. She helped the team to a runner-up showing, marking the fifth time in eight tournaments this year the Eagles have placed either first or second in a team event.
