They Said It…
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Well, I’d say I’m super proud of the way each and every one of these guys played this week. They fought with their heart. They never gave up. This is a golf course where you can lose your cool real easily, and these guys are veterans out here, and they showed up and stood out for Dallas and stood out for our team.
We knew it was going to be a tough test. We’re ripe and ready for the challenge whenever it is a tough test. I think that’s why we’re able to shine amongst all the teams is because the harder the test gets, we seem to do better. We love this challenge, and it showed winning by 11 shots.
They Said It… Dustin Johnson

DJ, can I get a reaction on seeing Patrick’s win? DUSTIN JOHNSON: Obviously it’s a great win. It’s a tough golf course, good field. Pretty much all the top guys played well. It was a good win. Any win out here is good, but it’s hard to win. We’ve got such a great quality of field,
and it’s just hard to win. Q. He was overdue; he was the best player out here without a win.
DUSTIN JOHNSON: Yeah, for sure. It was good to see. I’m happy for him, and yeah, it’s a good win.
He Said It… Patrick Reed

You win your first LIV Golf title in your 41st start
out here and your first pro win in your home state of Texas. What kind of emotions are you feeling right now?
PATRICK REED: I don’t like hearing those numbers, that it took me 41 times just to win out here. It took too long I felt like, but to check two things off and only win for the first time on LIV and also doing it in my home state means a lot. It’s just been I felt like a long time coming to win out here. I felt like the game has been solid. Even like today, you always deal with adversity throughout every tournament
you play. It’s just how you’re going to respond and handle it. Luckily I was able to kind of right the ship today and get in a playoff and make that putt at the end.
