MAC Announces Kickoff Times, Broadcasting Schedule for 2024 Football Season

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced today an updated 2024 football schedule with game times and television for the first three weeks of the regular season and midweek MACtion.
The 2024 conference season will kick off Saturday, September 21 with two contests as Central Michigan hosts Ball State, while Buffalo travels to Northern Illinois. The 28th MAC Football Championship game will be held on Saturday, December 7 (12 pm ET, ESPN) between the top two teams based on conference winning percentage. This will mark the 21st MAC Football Championship game at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.
All remaining game times and television will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled game. Games will air on ESPN networks (ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN+) and CBS Sports Network.
