Wolverines’ Lendeborg and Nittany Lions’ Mingo collect Big Ten weekly accolades

Player of the Week
Yaxel Lendeborg, Michigan
F – Grad. – 6-9 – Pennsauken, N.J. – Pennsauken
- Named MVP at the Players Era Festival after leading Michigan to three wins by more than 30 points, including wins over No. 21 Auburn and No. 12 Gonzaga
- Averaged 17.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.3 blocks, shooting 63.0% from the field and 43.8% from three-point range
- Led the Wolverines in scoring in all three games
- Lendeborg’s 11 assists doubled his season total, his four blocks nearly doubled his season total, and his six steals tripled his season total
- Claims first Player of the Week honor

Freshman of the Week
Kayden Mingo, Penn State
G – 6-3 – Farmingdale, N.Y. – Long Island Lutheran
- Posted 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 5.0 steals per game in leading the Nittany Lions to a pair of wins
- Tied the program’s single-game record with eight steals to go with 13 points and five assists in a win over Sacred Heart
- Added 14 points, four rebounds, and four assists in a victory over Boston University
- Earns first Freshman of the Week award
