Indianapolis — Chase Briscoe has won the pole for the 5th time this season, and the Indiana native is one of the favorites for The Brickyard 400. Last year’s oval winner Kyle Larson is a favorite, but another favorite, Denny Hamlin totalled his car and will go to a backup. Those who cover NASCAR weekly have made their predictions, and we have them.

Steven Taranto – CBS Sports – Ryan Blaney as the winner and John Hunter Nemechek as the darkhorse
