NASCAR: Media Predictions for the Coca-Cola 600

Media Predictions and Hall-of-Fame Podcast with Dustin Long of NBC Sports and Dave Moody of MRN Radio

Media Predictions

Steve Sweitzer- The Lasco Press– My favorite is Carson Hocevar and my dark horse is Ty Gibbs

Steven Tarranto- CBS Sports – William Byron with Ryan Preece as his sleeper. Byron has run second and third at Charlotte and won the race yesterday with significant lead laps out front.

Dustin Long- NBC Sports– Kyle Larson- My dark horse is John Hunter Nemechek

Dustin Albino- Jayski.com – William Byron- Hendrick Motorsports has thrived on intermediates this season. Byron’s recent track record in the Coca-Cola 600 is top-tier, despite not yet winning the crown jewel event. Darkhorse: Chris Buescher- The No. 17 team showed up to Charlotte with contending pace this weekend. Last year, a bad pit-stall selection on a narrow pit road cost Buescher numerous spots. By qualifying fourth, he’ll have among the best stalls.

Roy J. Akers- Sky View Sports.net- Joey Logano with Carson Hocevar as a sleeper. Logano is due to win in Charlotte, and Hocevar will win his first soon. This week could be it.

Roy J. Akers is a NASCAR reporter for www.skyviewsports.net
