NASCAR travels to Darlington 13 races or the halfway point of the regular season. Many of the drivers that drive well at Darlington qualified well and we have the results, quotes and some fantasy picks.
Qualifying Results
Two Ford’s join Reddick and the five Toyota’s. RFK Racing placed Brad Keselowski second and his teammate Chris Buescher third. That leaves Chevy with four spots and William Byron 5th and Kyle Larson 6th. Ross Chastain and the improving Kyle Busch take spots nine and ten.
Qualifying is complete and its five Toyota’s out front including the pole winner Tyler Reddick. Toyota’s joining Reddick in the top ten include: Ty Gibbs 4th,Denny Hamlin 7th, Bubba Wallace 8th, and Martin Truex Jr.
Coincidentally, Seven drivers are in the top ten in the points standings in 2024 so the rich appear to clean up at Darlington.
Quotes: BRAD KESELOWSKI, No. 6 Castrol Ford Mustang Dark Horse – “Qualifying has been a really weak spot for us this year and we knocked on the door right there of being able to have the pole. I wish we would have gotten it, but it was super close. It’s still really good to see and it bodes well for us tomorrow with pit stall selection and so forth, but ultimately tomorrow is a really long race. Whether you’re starting in the front or starting in the back you’ve got a lot of work to do. Darlington is a tough track. I’m excited with how we finished last week with a lot of speed and the car driving really well. We didn’t get the finish we wanted, but we’re carrying some of that momentum to this week and I’m very optimistic.”

Joey Logano is always a threat at Darlington A win, six top 20’s including two top tens make Logano a threat this week.
Tyler Reddick is on the pole after qualifying and his five top 20’s including three top 5’s make him a must play.
William Byron is always a must play if you are a fantasy player and have a few starts in hand. A win and five top 20’s including three top-fives.
