Most drivers consider the Brickyard 400 a crown jewel race. Our media picks have been chosen after interviewing the drivers, filing stories and years of experience. Here are our picks.
Media Picks for the Brickyard
Reid Spencer- The NASCAR Wire– Tyler Reddick to win and Erik Jones is my dark horse.
Lee Spencer- www.catchfence.com/Sirius – Denny Hamlin to win and my long shot Michael McDowell
Dustin Long- USA Sports- Denny Hamlin to win. Erik Jones is my dark horse.
Devin Kupka- Five to Go Podcast –RACE WINNER: Carson Hocevar, there isn’t an abundant amount of passing at Indianapolis so starting from the lead is a huge advantage. Watch out for the Toyota’s; they took the top five sports in practice Friday. With both of those things said, If Hocevar can manage being up front and hold off the fast charging Toyota’s I think he’s got a shot at kissing the bricks. DARK HORSE: Brad Keselowski, A Ford has won the last two NASCAR Cup Series races, and momentum might work in their favor as Ford could pick up their first win at Indy since Kevin Harvick did it in 2020.
Jessica Garcete- Indianapolis Star– Carson Hocevar to win
Bob, Go Full Throttle.net Larson to win … McDowell (20th in points) is my Dark horse
Roy J. Akers — www.skyviewsports.net- I will believe the hype and go with Chase Briscoe for the win, and my dark horse is Todd Gilliland who is 23rd in points but has two top-tens at Indy since they returned to the oval.
