NCAA Golf: UM Women’s golf coach Jan Dowling is planning for successful Wolverines’ season

We talk about the program’s foundation, 2022 B1G Championship and the future with HIGHLIGHTS

The University of Michigan women’s golf team is a force to be reckoned with. There are now 18 teams in the B1G, and every team is a threat to take your golf ball off the tee and drive away in a cart in any given match. Many B1G teams, on any given day. Northwestern won the women’s NCAA Division 1 title last year, and Oregon, USC, MSU, and, of course, The University of Michigan would like to add a women’s Division 1 title to their trophy case.

Michigan women’s coach Jan Dowling has been at the helm for over a decade and has one conference crown on her resume, and the players have earned seven team regional appearances and four trips to the NCAA finals. With Sr. Mara Janess and veteran players showing player leadership, this could be a big year for U-M. In this interview with Coach Dowling, we talk about her current team culture, players, and the current season schedule.
