Every week in the NFL is full of surprises. The Lions need a miracle to beat the NYG in OT. Shedeur Sanders left for dead and delivers. Matthew Stafford is relevant again.
Here is what they said.
‘We lose on purpose’
NYG receiver Malik Nabors questions the late play calls by the Giants coaching staff. “Sometimes I think they b makin us lose on purpose,” Nabers wrote, via ESPN. “Cause it’s no way, bro you throw the ball instead of running it to make em burn 2 timeouts?? then you dnt kick the field goal?? Then they have to go down and score!!! Football common sense!!!! Am I missing something?”

Is he the messiah?
“I’m who they’re looking for,” Sanders boldly proclaimed.
It followed his midweek bravado when he stated “I know I’m the guy’” and “you cannot miss this moment.”
Jalen Hurts on the Eagles coughing up 21-0 lead
“You look inward first,” Hurts said in his postgame press conference. “Looking at the things we can control from a penalty standpoint, an execution standpoint, those are all things we control. I don’t point towards how we adjusted or what we did or didn’t do. In the end, we had an opportunity to win the game and we didn’t. We’ve got to own this one, let it light a fire in us as a team and stay together and move forward.”
Jahmyr Gibbs accolades
Jared Goff: “Man, that dude is as good as they come in our league, and he’s making his claim as one of the best players, regardless of position,” Goff said. “For him to be able to do that to supplement some of the struggles we were having was awesome.”

Dan Campbell: “He’s electric, he’s a game-changer,” Dan Campbell said of Gibbs. “I mean, he bailed us out in a big way.”
Commentators on Week 12 NFL Action

“L.A. is playing the best football of anyone in the league right now.” – Tony Dungy on the Rams
“One of the greatest arms in the history of the sport. He doesn’t get credit for that. His instincts and feel for the game are incredible.” – Chris Simms on Rams QB Matthew Stafford
Mike Florio on Bengals QB Joe Burrow potentially returning on Thursday for Cincinnati’s Thanksgiving night game: “I am told that nothing is set in stone as to whether or not he’ll be able to play. It’s to be determined based on how his body responds to practice but he wants to play.”
