Midland, Mich. — A very windy moving day turned into a soggy course. Playable and most pros like the dart conditions. This put up the red numbers and the four ball condiions were ripe for players to go low. All teams finished below par with the wind leaving but long sleeve weather moving in on a rainy day.

Plenty of red numbers on Sunday.

Gina Kim & Yana Wilson

Kim and Wilson came out firing on Sunday. Going four under on the front, including an eagle, the leaders were at -16 and leading by two and then Wilson holed out on the 17th to go up by three of multiple teams and sealed the win. All 34 finishing teams were under par on Sunday. The finish with a closing birdie on 18. Both players have won their first LPGA title. Wilson is 19-years-old.

Hye Jin-Choi & Hye Joo Kim

Hye Jin-Choi & Hye Joo Kim started with the lead after round three. Birdies were slow with two plus a bogey through seven. This duo played well but were only (-2) when the two strokes they lost by were the difference.

Lilia Vu and Alison Lee

Lilia Vu and Alison Lee led most of Moving Day on Saturday before a Vu tee-shot was snaphooked on the 16th and went OB. Vu/Lee went triple bogey and finished 4th. They put on a birdie barrage and with six through the 13th for a share of the lead. Vu and Lee played well down the stretch but they stalled out two strokes behind Kim and Wilson. That triple on 16 on Saturday is a point where their weekends changed.

Jin Hee Im and Somi Lee

Im and Lee had six straight birdies to open their round to tie for the lead, and three holes later they added two bogeys and a birdie to set one back after ten holes. They ended up tied for third playing to the tune of a 61. No one has won twice in the history of the Dow Championship. Bet they partner up next year.

Angel Yin and Juli Inkster

Most of the talk this year was made by Inkster, who at age 65+, became the oldest woman to make the cut in an LPGA event. Yin and Inkster were under par on Saturday when most teams were over par. Yin/Inkster went six under on Sunday.Yin saved Inkster in a four-ball on several occasions on Sunday. For the tournament, they finished T-12.
