College Hockey is now in the second half of the season and most of the teams have already played in holiday tournaments and league games.
MSU is still No.1 and has solidified the top spot with a win at the GLI over No. 4 Western Michigan in overtime and two more overtime wins over Wisconsin including at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
In all, four B1G teams remain in the top 11. Minnesota remains steady at No. 3, Michigan remains at 9 and Ohio State moves up two spots to No. 11.
The NCHC has Western Michigan remaining at No. 4. Their loss to MSU in the GLI final did not hurt them. Denver, St. Cloud St., Colorado College, North Dakota and Arizona State show the strength of this hockey conference.
The CCHA has only Minnesota State ranked in the top 20. They are at No. 12 this week. The CCHA does have a cluster of teams receiving honorable mentions including Augustana, Michigan Tech, Bowling Green and Bemidii St.
Others receiving votes: Augustana 69, Dartmouth 58, Connecticut 37, Massachusetts 24, Wisconsin 17, Bentley 13, Michigan Tech 12, Harvard 6, Niagara 6, Sacred Heart 4, Bowling Green 3, Bemidji State 1, LIU 1, Northeastern 1, Princeton 1U
