• Week 11 of the 2025 college football season features seven games. The conference slate begins with a Friday night matchup between Northwestern and USC in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on FOX. Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State and Minnesota all enjoy byes this week, with the complete schedule appearing to the right.

• Nine of the Big Ten’s 18 teams are mentioned in this week’s AP or US LBM Coaches Polls, announced on Sunday. The AP poll includes No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indiana, No. 6 Oregon, No. 20 USC, No. 21 Michigan, and No. 24 Washington with Iowa and Illinois receiving votes. At No. 1, Ohio State leads nine Big Ten teams in the coaches’ poll (No. 2 Indiana, No. 6 Oregon, No. 20 Michigan, No. 21 USC, and No. 24 Iowa); Washington, Illinois and Minnesota also received recognition.

• The Big Ten had seven teams included in the College Football Playoff’s first rankings of the season on Nov. 5: No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indiana, No. 9 Oregon, No. 19 USC, No. 20 Iowa, No. 21 Michigan and No. 23 Washington. The CFP will release its next top 25 rankings on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

• There are just four undefeated teams remaining in the FBS, with two hailing from the Big Ten: Indiana (9-0) and Ohio State (8-0). Both teams are on the road this weekend as the Hoosiers travel to Penn State and the Buckeyes head to Purdue.

• The Big Ten announced its Football Players of the Week, presented by IFS.ai on Monday. Illinois’ Luke Altmeyer and Michigan’s Jordan Marshall were named Co-Offensive Players of the Week.

• Altmeyer recorded a career-high five total touchdowns (4 passing, 1 rushing) and 323 total yards in Illinois’ 35-13 win vs. Rutgers. He became the first Illini to total five touchdowns since 2013 and led Illinois to its sixth win, becoming bowl eligible in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2010-11.

• Marshall tallied three touchdowns and 185 yards in the win against Purdue. His 185 rushing yards tie the most by a Michigan ball carrier since Donovan Edwards rushed for the same total against Purdue in the 2022 Big Ten Championship game.

• Ohio State’s Arvell Reese earned Defensive Player of the Week honors after posting career-highs of 12 tackles and 2.5 tackles-for-loss with one sack. The junior currently leads the Buckeyes with 54 tackles on the season and is second in TFLs (9-44) and quarterback sacks (6.5-41).

• USC’s Ryon Sayeri claimed Special Teams Players of the Week. Sayeri scored eight points for the Trojans with two field goals (49 and 24 yards) and two PATs in USC’s 21-17 victory over Nebraska.

• Four Big Ten players were named semifinalists for the Butkus Award, given to the nation’s most impactful linebacker. Indiana’s Aiden Fischer, Michigan’s Jimmy Rolder, and Ohio State’s Avrell Reese and Sonny Styles were among the twelve players selected.

• Indiana is 9-0 to start a season for the second time in program history, and the second time in as many years, after its 55-10 win at Maryland in Week 10. The nine wins ties for the second-most wins a season in program history (9; 1945, 1967).The Hoosiers’ 6-0 start in Big Ten play marks the second time in program history an Indiana team started with an unblemished mark through at least six conference games (7-0; 2024) and ties for second-most conference wins ever (6; 1967, 1987, 2020).

• Eight Big Ten teams rank among the top 25 nationally in Relative Scoring Offense, the statistic most closely correlated with winning over the last ten years. Indiana leads the nation and the conference (193.41%), followed by Oregon at No. 2 (183.85%), No. 5 Penn State (162.00%), No. 7 Ohio State (158.03%), No. 10 USC (154.13%), No. 13 Illinois (151.41%), No. 22 Washington (143.32%) and No. 25 Nebraska (140.24%).

• Five Big Ten teams rank within the top 15 of the NCAA in total defense entering week 11. Ohio State is the NCAA leader with 214.8 yards per game, followed by Iowa (2nd, 234.9 yards per game), Oregon (4th, 239.4), Indiana (7th, 248.3) and Nebraska (13th, 289.9).

• Ohio State currently holds the longest win streak in the country with 12 consecutive wins, the fourth 10-plus game winning streak for Ryan Day with 16 consecutive wins in 2018-19, 12 consecutive wins this year and also in 2021-22, and 11 consecutive wins in 2023.

• The Big Ten also paces A4 conferences with six teams in the top 20 in scoring defense, four of the top five teams in passing yards allowed per game, and special teams touchdowns (14; five more than the next closest conference).

• Six Big Ten teams rank in the top 10 for passing completion percentage, the most of any conference in the nation. Ohio State is first in the FBS with an 80.3%, followed by Nebraska (2nd, 73.7%), Washington (3rd, 72.6%), Indiana (5th, 72.1%), Oregon (7th, 70.9%), and Illinois (8th, 70.2%).
