The first conference weekend of the year takes place on Oct. 25-26, when Ferris State hosts defending regular-season champions Bemidji State.

As was the case last season, each of the full-member institutions will play two games, either home or away, with Augustana. The Vikings are set to play a full CCHA schedule and be eligible for the Mason Cup Playoffs in 2025-26.

Michigan Tech, which claimed its first Mason Cup Championship last season, opens its conference slate with a home-and-home series with rival Northern Michigan on November 1-2. The first full weekend of league action also includes Augie’s first trip to St. Thomas and Minnesota State renewing its in-state rivalry at Bemidji State. Ferris State visits Bowling Green to round out the slate.

The first weekend in which all eight full members hit the ice against one another is December 6-7, with Lake Superior State hosting the Beavers, Michigan Tech welcoming the Tommies to MacInnes Student Ice Arena, Northern Michigan hosting the Bulldogs and the Mavericks hosting the Falcons at the Mayo.

Michigan Tech hosts Bemidji State on Winter Carnival weekend (Feb. 7-8), the annual celebration that takes place every winter in Houghton, Mich.

The CCHA regular season will come to a close on Mar. 1 with the team earning the most points being awarded the prestigious MacNaughton Cup.

The top four teams following regular-season action will host the opening round of the CCHA Playoffs March 7-9 with the winner of each best-of-three series advancing to the league semifinals. For the fourth consecutive year, both semifinals (Mar. 15) and final (TBA) will be played as a single game at the respective campus sites of the highest-seeded team, with the Championship Game taking place on Friday, March 21. The Mason Cup will be presented to the CCHA playoff champions, who will receive an automatic qualification to the 16-team NCAA Tournament.

The NCAA Tournament opens play March 27-30 with regional sites in Allentown, Pa., Fargo, N.D., Toledo, Ohio and Manchester, N.H.

The 2025 Frozen Four is set to take place at Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Mo., on April 10 & 12.
