Overall, her finish marked her first back-to-back top 10 showings since she earned three consecutive during the 2024-25 season for Oregon at the Alice & John Wallace Classic (fourth), the Juli Inkster Invitational (tied for first), and the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational (tied for sixth).

MAC Men’s Co-Golfers of the Week
Vicente Quiroga, Eastern Michigan, 1st, Cochabamba, Bolivia (Tiquipaya School)

Event: Bank of Tennessee Invitational
Individual: T3 | Team: 2nd
Score: 70-68-64=202 (-14)
Quiroga tied for third at 14-under 202 (70-68-64) at the Bank of Tennessee Invitational to lead the Eagles to a second-place team finish. Quiroga, who started the final round in a tie for 11th, posted 10 birdies and two bogies to shoot a final-round 64 and make his run toward the top of the standings. His 64, the fourth-lowest in program history, was the lowest final-round score in the 26-year history of the Bank of Tennessee Invitational and helped him shoot 202, which tied for the tournament’s fifth-best score. Quiroga, ranked No. 244 this week, beat out 11 players ranked ahead of himself nationally, including a trio of top 50 players in No. 13 Erik Tjarnberg and No. 46 Veigar Heidarsson of ETSU and No. 27 Bence Bertenyi of MAC rival Toledo, to help him grab his second top three showing in as many tournaments after he used a final-round and school-record-tying 63 to earn co-medalist honors at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational earlier this month (Oct. 5-6).
