Christian McCaffery on why SF is advancing
“Our team fights,” McCaffrey told Fox after the game. “We take each day at a time and go as hard as we can every single time.
“I love this group so much. I don’t have enough good things to say about it. Proud to be a part of this team.”
Josh Allen on Buffalo’s win
“Just trusting everybody on the field,” Allen said. “Great win, great team win. All we’ve got to do is play our game, find a way to win a football game. We’re on to the next.

Buffalo will play at Denver or New England next week, a chance to build a road winning streak after a decades-long skid.
“We got to go do it again. We got to go do it again,” Allen said.
Matt LaFleur says he’s “disappointed and humbled”
“This is the greatest organization in the world, in my opinion, and it’s very humbling. I’m certainly disappointed right now. I’m disappointed mostly for—well, not mostly,” LaFleur said, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. “I’m disappointed for everybody that’s associated with the Green Bay Packers. I’m disappointed for our locker room, disappointed for our fans, our leadership. Everyone involved with the Green Bay Packers right now.”
F’ em
“F— the Packers! F— them,” Ben Johnson shouted as part of his postgame locker room speech, which was shared by the team on social media after Chicago completed the largest postseason comeback in franchise history.
The Bears Heard the Packers loud and clear
“There was probably a little bit more noise coming out of their building up north to start the week, which we heard loud and clear, players and coaches alike,” Ben Johnson said. “This one meant something to us.”
Be Careful what you wish for
Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley went a step further on Wednesday, implying that Green Bay would beat Chicago when he told reporters “we are not going to be done, so I will see you guys next week.”

Chicago puts a stop to it
“It definitely got us riled up,” Bears safety Kevin Byard III said. “It got us amped up for the game. … I didn’t think that we were going to be able to top some of the wins that we had earlier in this season, as far as the comebacks. But this one, this one was just the most special one.”
Stafford is all right… Maybe
Stafford, who was named an NFC first-team All-Pro earlier in the day, played through a hand injury he suffered late in the first half. While attempting a second-down pass to wide receiver Puka Nacua (10 receptions, 111 yards, 1 TD), Stafford said he had his finger bent backward.
“It wasn’t pleasant,” Stafford said. “It wasn’t great. We’ll see what it is. I was obviously able to finish the game and throw it decent. Once the ball’s snapped, the adrenaline’s pretty good, so we’ll hopefully just keep it going.”
Davante Adams believes Stafford is gangster
“It was pretty cold, just to hear that,” Adams said. “And I actually literally smiled in the moment because I thought that was one of the most gangster things you could say at that moment, honestly. And to hear him say that and the look on his face and then throw that touchdown and then the look on his face after that was just MVP stuff.”
Lions GM Brad Holmes rates his 2025 GM performance

However, Holmes acknowledged the season forced him to look at his own performance and said changes would be forthcoming. “So, I have to do a better job. Obviously, haven’t been good enough, and look, I’m always going to look inwards. So, early stages but already started to identify some things that I can definitely do better, and we’re going to collectively just have to look at everything from top to bottom… And, really, that’s probably the only light that may come out of this darkness, I would say. When you have these kinds of results, you don’t have a choice. You’re forced to look at everything…to improve our football team and just kind of recalibrate this thing to just play more consistent football.”
