Turnbull posted his best collegiate finish and his first collegiate top 10 showing as he tied for sixth at the Hal Williams Collegiate on the Crossings Course at the RTJ Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Ala., to help the No. 120 Eagles to a fourth-place finish that featured wins over five teams ranked ahead of them, including No. 53 Rice, No. 57 South Alabama, No. 58 Memphis, No. 67 Nebraska, and No. 118 Texas State. Turnbull led the charge as he was under par in all three rounds to shoot 7-under 203 (69-67-67), which tied for the fourth-lowest score in program history. His first tournament under par as a collegiate player, the freshman lowered his previous best by eight strokes (211, Jim DeLapa Collegiate) while he captured his first top 10 showing after posting a previous best of tied for 24th at the DeLapa event. Turnbull, ranked No. 805 in the latest national computer rankings, finished ahead of numerous players ranked higher than him, including nine in the top 200 and three members of the top 60.

Veronika led Kent State at the UCF Challenge, finishing even-par (216) across 54 holes to post the lowest score in the Golden Flashes’ lineup. After steady play early in the tournament, Kedronová navigated a difficult stretch late in Round 1 before responding with consistent scoring over the final two rounds.
On Monday, she recorded five birdies in Round 2 and opened Round 3 with five birdies over her first seven holes, playing her final 32 holes at four-under par. That response was highlighted by her play on No. 13, where she followed a double bogey in Sunday’s opening round with birdies on the same hole on Monday.
For the tournament, Kedronová totaled 13 birdies, nine bogeys, and two doubles, anchoring Kent State’s lineup throughout the event.
