The picture above happened at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May 2026 announcing Kyle was resigning with RCR Racing for this 2026 season.In this press conference, a mild surprise happened when Busch was going to return to the team for the 2027 season. Everybody in the racing world lost a great driver whether you rooted him or not. Childress told the story that the announcement at Michigan was bringing Busch in side by side with GM executives. Childress put out an announcement asking him to let this meeting wait until he could properly heal and let some privacy for the Busch family continue.
