Annabelle Pancake-Webb captured her first career Epson Tour victory Sunday at Highland Meadows Golf Club, shooting 9-under 133 to win the weather-shortened Greater Toledo Classic and become the newest champion in northwest Ohio’s long tradition of professional women’s golf.
With just 18 holes left to decide a champion, there was little room for error. Three players shared the overnight lead at 5-under, while another three sat just one stroke back, leaving six players separated by a single shot entering Championship Sunday. Lauren Olivares and Mariel Galdiano raised the pressure from the morning wave, each posting 7-under 135 to set the clubhouse target. Pancake-Webb responded down the stretch, birding her closing two holes to earn her first Epson Tour title.
“It means so much,” said Pancake-Webb. “This is an incredible tour with incredible players and staff, and the golf course was great. To be able to win out here in the Midwest means a lot. Everyone knows this takes a lot of work, and winning is hard in golf. To finally get on top feels really good.”
Pancake-Webb, a native of Zionsville, Indiana, moved to 7-under through her opening nine and reached 8-under with a birdie on the par-4 12th to seize the outright lead. A three-putt bogey on the 15th briefly tightened the race, but she responded with back-to-back birdies on the par-5 17th and 18th to close out her first Epson Tour victory.
“After 15, I just told myself it wasn’t over,” said Pancake-Webb. “I still had three holes to play, including two par-5s, and I’m a pretty aggressive player. I just reset and treated it like a new stretch of golf without changing anything. It was my first bogey of the tournament, and it was just a bad putt. You have to forget the bad shots and remember the good ones, and that’s what I tried to do.”
Lauren Olivares mounted one of the strongest charges of Championship Sunday, firing a 6-under 65 to climb into a tie for second at 7-under for the tournament. After opening the week with a 1-under, 70, the Epson Tour rookie caught fire with 10 birdies, including six over a seven-hole stretch, before closing with a birdie on the par-5 18th to secure her fourth consecutive top-five finish.
Soon after Olivares signed for the clubhouse lead, Mariel Galdiano matched the mark at 7-under with rounds of 67-68 – 135. The six-year professional, who entered the week with three top-3 finishes this season, remained steady throughout the final round, carding four birdies against one bogey. A birdie attempt on the 18th narrowly slid past the hole before she tapped in for par to join Olivares at the top of the leaderboard, ultimately ending the day in a tie for second.
Four golfers rounded out the top five at 5-under, with Jieni Li, Jackie Lucena, Alice Hodge and Gile Bite Starkute each finishing at 137. Li, a 2026 Epson Tour rookie and Northwestern University graduate, recorded the best finish of her young professional career, highlighted by a 4-under final round.
Haylee Harford Sanchez, fresh off her first career Epson Tour win at the Four Winds Invitational, also caught fire in the morning wave with a 6-under 65 to jolt her from T77 to T8.
Next up, the Epson Tour heads out east for the Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship presented by Munich Re, set to begin on July 23.
