Speedway, Indiana –Tony Pancake, the PGA Pro at Crooked Stick had near daily encounters with one of the great golf legends of all-time. Course designer Pete Dye lived on the 18th fairway of Crooked Stick until his passing several years ago. Dye and his wife Alice called the club home where he could be found walking his dog and tinkering with a course that put him on the course design map. Pancake and I talk about the Dye legacy with some stories, where Crooked Stick intends to host major championship golf, and the junior tournament that bears the Dyes’ name.
