Third in NHRA Funny Car Championship going into Las Vegas

The NHRA season has two races to go and drivers and teams in all four series are getting after it. Team Kalitta’s JR Todd won a Funny Car Championship in 2018, and is on the hunt for a second one in 2026. Todd is third in points and tells us at High Banked Fury his team knows they have an outside chance of being the 2026 series. Todd defeated Funny Car series leader Matt Hagen to win his two titles in 2026, including at Dallas earlier this month.
