Featured Groups: 2026 The Amundi Evian Championship

For the fourth time this season the best in the women’s game will gather from across the globe for a major championship, this time in Evian-les-bains, France for The Amundi Evian Championship. That’s where not only the trophy, but the bragging rights of having earned the title as a major champion, are on the line at Evian Resort Golf Club. Here are some of the notable groups to watch this week during the opening rounds of the season’s fourth major championship.

Thursday, 7:36 a.m., 10th tee; Friday, 12:36 p.m. 1st tee – Nelly Korda, Haeran Ryu, Lottie Woad

As the winner of the first two major championships of the season Korda is back in action in France where she’ll be seeking to win The Amundi Evian Championship for the fourth leg of the career grand slam. Korda was tied for eighth in her last start at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship where she picked up her ninth top 10 of the season. Korda has twice finished in the top 10 at Evian Resort Golf Club in 2022 and 2023. Korda will play alongside the newest major winner on the LPGA Tour in Ryu, who pulled out a two-stroke victory at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship for her maiden major title. Ryu has played consistently all season long with six more top 10s in addition to her victory. Her best finish in Evian came in 2024 when she was solo fifth. Woad will make just her third appearance at Evian Resort Golf Club where she was tied for third last year. She’ll look to regain that form in her return to France as she is coming off a missed cut in her last start at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

Thursday, 8:00 a.m., 10th tee; Friday, 1:00 p.m., 1st tee – Minjee Lee, Jin Young Ko, Gaby Lopez

Lee mounted an unforgettable major comeback when she won The Amundi Evian Championship in 2021, when she came from seven strokes back on the final day with a closing round of 64 to force a playoff which she eventually won with Jeongeun Lee6. Lee has two top 10s on the LPGA Tour through the first half of the season. Ko, who hoisted the trophy in 2019, has never missed a cut at Evian Resort Golf Club and in celebration of her birthday on Tuesday, would love nothing more than to get back in the winner’s circle for the first time since 2023. Lopez will be a player to watch as she has been a consistent presence in the major championships this year and has three top five finishes already in 2026. Lopez has twice finished in the top 10 in Evian where she was tied for third in 2023.

Thursday, 12:36 p.m. 1st tee; Friday, 7:36 a.m., 1st tee – Charley Hull, Lydia Ko, Jeeno Thitikul

Hull will make her 13th appearance when she tees it up this week at the Amundi Evian Championship, where her best finish came in a tie for third in 2022. Hull is coming off a missed cut in her last major start at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. She will play alongside a past champion in Ko, who won in Evian in 2015 for her first major title. Ko has seven more top 10s at Evian Resort Golf Club and comes into the fourth major championship of the year with mixed success, having missed the cut in the first two majors of the season, but was tied for 15th in her last start at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Thitikul remains in pursuit of her first major title as she returns to Evian, where she was runner-up last season. Already a two-time winner with three more top 10s through the first half of the season, Thitikul has had quite a bit of success in Evian as well where she has four top 10s.

Thursday, 12:48 p.m., 1st tee; Friday, 7:48 a.m., 10th tee – Grace Kim, Ayaka Furue, Celine Boutier

Kim won her breakout major victory in thrilling fashion with a closing eagle on the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Jeeno Thitikul, who she defeated in a playoff with yet another eagle on the 18th green during the second hole of the playoff. Kim went four-under par on her last four holes to finish tied with Thitikul after 72 holes. Kim returns to Evian off a tie for 24th at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and has a single top 10 so far in 2026 with a tie for seventh at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Kim will play alongside two of the other most recent winners of The Amundi Evian Championship. Furue, who won in 2024, has never missed the cut in Evian. She has four top 10s through the first half of the season and is coming off a tie for 19th at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Boutier, who was victorious in her home country of France in 2023, is already a winner this season with her victory at the ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern. Boutier is making her 10th appearance at the Amundi Evian Championship where she has one other top 10 finish in addition to her victory.
